My story

If there was ever a pup that deserves a loving home&#44 I just know itandamp;#39;s gotta be me. Hi&#44 Iandamp;#39;m Asher&#44 and Iandamp;#39;m a young guy who is doing everything I know to get you to notice me and decide to make me yours. While I havenandamp;#39;t had your typical puppy life&#44 Iandamp;#39;m such a happy boy and nothing phases me in the least. Iandamp;#39;m so full of life and love&#44 and there are so many people in this world that adore me and want only the best for me.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I came to the shelter many&#44 many months ago&#44 and I was such a happy boy. But I had a few too many puppy behaviors that I needed to figure out how to change. Iandamp;#39;m a big believer in training and trying to better yourself. So Great Plains put me in the Pups for Parole program in Cameron&#44 Missouri&#44 and it has been life changing for me. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;ve learned so many commands&#44 and I could probably teach your dog a thing or two when it comes to the basics. andamp;quot;Sitandamp;quot;&#44 andamp;quot;waitandamp;quot;&#44 andamp;quot;downandamp;quot;&#44 andamp;quot;stayandamp;quot;&#44 and andamp;quot;leave itandamp;quot; are all part of my repertoire. Iandamp;#39;ve got andamp;quot;comeandamp;quot; mastered when Iandamp;#39;m inside&#44 but I still have a bit of a problem responding to andamp;quot;comeandamp;quot; when I am outside enjoying myself and I very obviously donandamp;#39;t want the party to end. Iandamp;#39;m crate trained and house trained. Iandamp;#39;m extremely playful around other dogs and enjoy their company immensely. I love to play with all sorts of toys&#44 too&#44 and I entertain myself with them quite nicely. Iandamp;#39;ll have you smiling and laughing when I play&#44 and you wonandamp;#39;t be able to take your eyes off me. Iandamp;#39;m great on leash&#44 and being next to you on a walk in the great outdoors would be a dream come true for me.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Since Iandamp;#39;m still working on containing my excitement meeting new people&#44 Iandamp;#39;d prefer to be in a home with kids older than 8 years old. I would really love a home that is cat free and one that has a fenced in backyard.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Here are some of my likes:andlt;br/andgt;taking walks and being good on leashandlt;br/andgt;car rides to anywhereandlt;br/andgt;playing hide and seek around the furnitureandlt;br/andgt;chasing ballsandlt;br/andgt;playing tagandlt;br/andgt;playing and playing with other dogsandlt;br/andgt;inventing new gamesandlt;br/andgt;food puzzlesandlt;br/andgt;chew toysandlt;br/andgt;cuddling and cuddlingandlt;br/andgt;making people happyandlt;br/andgt;slices of apples!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I want to make my new family very proud of me. Thatandamp;#39;s why I work so hard to learn and grow. I sure hope you will come and pick wonderful me to join your family and love you forever.
