TAJIN*

My story

If you are a true Tajin lover, you’ve got mini bottles everywhere… in your glove box, your purse or backpack, stashed in your desk at work… maybe even in your pocket. You need easy access because you never know when you’ll encounter food that’s a little too bland or just needs that perfect Tajin blend of tang and spice. Some of the best things in life start out a little spicy and end up sweet, just like our gorgeous brindle boy Tajin! Tajin came into the shelter very frightened along with a group of undersocialized dogs. In his time at PACC he has begun to learn that people can be trusted and the volunteers and staff at the shelter care for him and give him good things like meals, treats, walks and love! Tajin is hoping for a patient furever family who will help him learn how to be a beloved and well-cared for family pet in a secure, understanding environment. Tajin’s volunteer friends are so proud of the progress he has made and have shared the following:“Tajin is still uneasy getting leashed, but once outside he`s a fairly affectionate dude who`s been having a ball playing with other dogs in playgroup. He would do well with another confident doggy friend in a future home.”“Tajin needs encouragement to walk, but while on the walk he will accept pets and touch. He will eventually learn that the leash means good things!A staff member shared: “After some time in the play yard Tajin began opening up to the dogs as well as the handlers in the yard. A more energetic and playful pup came up and began playbowing and initiated some play with him that he happily engaged in. He opened up a lot in the yard and was pretty friendly with the handlers. He was a good boy and corrected appropriately when he wanted his space as well as respecting the corrections from the other dogs.” Tajin shares his kennel with another PACC pup and would do well with a doggy friend to show him the ropes in his future home.
