My story

Hi there, future best friend! I’m Zita, a 3-year-old lady on the lookout for a forever home filled with love, snacks, and lots of fun walks. I’m a happy, easygoing gal who’s ready to settle in and be the loyal companion you’ve been waiting for. Right now, I’m in the middle of a little health journey with heartworm treatment (don’t worry, it’s not contagious, and my shelter’s got me covered for it!). So, I’m looking for a calm, quiet place where I can get cozy, take naps, and receive all the gentle TLC I deserve during the 60-day treatment. In return, I’ll offer you cuddles, love, and unwavering loyalty. I’m an absolute pro when it comes to being well-behaved - potty trained, crate trained, and a super holder (yes, I can hold it for hours if you have a busy schedule). I love walking on my leash, and I’ll happily stroll by your side like a true lady. I prefer a harness, so I can strut my stuff in comfort. I’m also a dog’s dog! I get along with all my four-legged friends and know how to keep things calm and fun—no chaos here! I’m definitely the smartest in the playgroup (shhh, don’t tell the others), and I’d love to learn more tricks from you if you`re up for it. I`ve also met a cat, and while initially curious about this little feline, I became disinterested and quickly moved on to other things. With slow managed introductions, I think we could eventually be great friends! Looking For:I’m on the hunt for a loving family with a calm vibe, maybe with older kids (10+ would be perfect!) and other dogs. If you appreciate a good leash walk, a cozy cuddle session, and the occasional treat, I think we’d be a perfect match! Fun Fact: I know how to “sit” and “check-in,” and I’m always ready to learn new things, especially if it involves treats. Bonus points if you have an endless supply of those delicious snacks.
