My story

Hi! I’m Rex—a sweet, goofy pup with a little extra sparkle.I’m full of love, wiggles, and personality. I’m also a special needs pup—I`m hard of hearing, possibly have some vision quirks, and my brain works a little differently. That just means I do things in my own unique (and sometimes clumsy) way!I’m learning fast with visual and physical cues, and I love making my people proud. (Sometimes I get so excited I drop treats mid-celebration!) I’m playful, cuddly, and obsessed with stuffy toys—I’ll carry one like treasure or toss it around just for fun.I’d do best in a home with dog-savvy adults or teens and would love a confident dog friend to help me learn the ropes (with a meet-and-greet, of course!). Because I’m still a jumpy, mouthy pup and need some help with boundaries, I’m not the best match for little kids.If you’re patient, experienced, and ready to laugh a lot, I promise to be your most loyal, lovable sidekick.P.S. I’m part of the Foster-to-Adopt program!That means we’ll get to hang out a few times before I move in for a three-week trial stay at your place.
