Reese

My story

Reese isn’t a very well-read or studious dog, but he does have a few philosophies that he lives by. The first is simple: Reese believes that “sharing is caring,” and he practices this belief by pressing his favorite toys into your hands so you can take part in the fun and games. Reese tends to live life to the absolute fullest — he never wakes up on the wrong side of the bed or ends up grouchy because he slept wrong or the weather isn’t perfect. He loves playing with his toys — the newest ones are always the best in his opinion — and he can entertain himself for quite a while, prancing around and being a bit of a goofy idiot. Reese is a fan of walks and is quickly learning to sit politely on the edge of the sidewalk while people pass. He can get overexcited and jumpy when meeting new people, so we recommend a teens+ or adult-only home with a family who will continue his training to help him stay calm and polite in these moments. Reese is in our special adoption program, which provides pre- and post-adoption counseling to set adopters and their new pets up for success.
