**Fostered in Seattle, Washington and available for meet and greets and adoption** This friendly, adorable and easy-going boy is named Spotty Sploots! He’s a water-dog, a fetch-lover, tug-of-war king, and an expert snuggler who happens to be looking for forever love. If he could have it his way, it would be playing fetch all day! His playful energy could enlighten anyones bad day. But don’t worry, we know he is the perfect snuggle bug after a long day. He’s almost TOO good at it. Spotty also has a special talent-- He is bilingual! He knows commands in both english and Spanish. What a show off! Spotty has never met a stranger, greeting everyone he meets with a warm welcome and a request for pets. Not only is he so handsome, but he has the biggest heart and is ready to spoil his people with all of the love! Sporty loves kids and kids love Spotty, so we think Spotty will make a great family dog. He will be a wonderful addition to your pack. Spotty would could also be happy being your one and only. More cuddles and ball time for him! We think Spotty is a Pit Bull Terrier mix of some sort, around 50 pounds and estimated to be 2 years old. Spotty is an affectionate and friendly boy that loves belly rubs and snuggles. He likes to be dressed up in sweaters and shirts, and his favorite spot in the house is the couch. Spotty was just a cute little stray, meandering around town when he stumbled into a 3 year old’s birthday party. He crashed the party, and when a party guest left the back door open, Spotty invited himself in and made himself at home! Spotty is now the best of friends with the 3 year old birthday boy, and was being fostered in their home with four other dogs, ranging in size from Chihuahua to Husky, and a kitty. In his foster home, Spotty lives like a welcome guest, mingling with the other animals and getting along well with everyone. He shares toys and treats well with his furry foster siblings (yes all 6 dogs and even a kitty!), and doesn’t show jealousy when others receive affection. He sleeps in his crate and his foster family reports that he is fully crate trained. They describe him as “sweet and playful,” a good boy to his core! Spotty loves to play fetch with his humans, and loves to play in water. With new people, Spotty is friendly and easy going. He greets new friends with tail wags and smiles. He’s pretty easy on leash already, and with a little polishing he’ll be an absolutely perfect walking companions! He’s great in the car, but a little bit of a roamer, so his foster family crates him for car rides. Everything about Spotty indicates that he’ll be a perfect little adventure dog. Take this guy to the park, events, concerts and watch him steal hearts! We know that he’d love to attend your birthday party, backyard barbecue, or even a pool day if you let him! Spotty even enjoys a good sun bathing sesh now and again. Did someone say tanning buddy? Spotty wants to be a family dog, his ideal home has kids running around, maybe another dog or two to play with, and definitely lots of time to hang out and play! We have been told Spotty would be the perfect ranch dog. The more room to play, the happier he is! He would thrive helping his people around a farm or even just hanging out in the backyard! Our rescue has a 2-acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs' adoption ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs, and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there!
