My story

Hello, I`m Chica! I`m a 2-year-old, 51lb Boxer mix with a smile that lights up any room. I`m shy at first, but once I warm up to you, we`ll be the best of friends. I may not approach you for pets, but I won`t want you to stop once you start! I am a very sweet girl and have gotten along with everyone I`ve met so far, and I`m great with kids of all ages. I`m friendly with other dogs too!When I first arrived to the shelter as a stray, I tested positive for heartworms. The good news is, I recently finished up heartworm treatment and am feeling better than ever! I still need to rest and take it easy with short walks at this time, however, I can`t wait to take on life with a loving human by my side. I`m leash-trained and have been doing great with house-training. I am a medical adopt due to the heartworms, so our vet staff will go over everything you need to know regarding my care.I promise to be your loyal companion, always by your side, sharing in your joys and comforting you in your sorrows. I`m ready to find my forever home where I can share all the love I have to give. Won`t you give me a chance to be part of your family? My adoption fee is $200 and includes my vaccines, spay/neuter surgery, and microchip. I can`t wait to meet you!
