Gumbo

My story

Meet our resident smartie-pants, Gumbo! At roughly 2 1/2 years old, Gumbo has truly blossomed since arriving to us a few months ago. A pup who came in terrified of the world, new people and leashes-is now nothing short of a happy-go-lucky boy! His favorite past-time is hands down, our playgroups. He loves nothing more than being able to run and romp with both his male and female doggie friends. Since the beginning of April, Gumbo has been in a foster home and we have continued to learn more great things about him. In his current foster home, he is with both a male and female canine companion. He has perfected his house training and crate training lessons, knowing the commands for `no`, `out` and `in`. During the day, his favorite hobby is investigating and carrying around any and all squeaky toys at his disposal. Personal space is not in his vocabulary; he loves to be right on top of his canine and human friends. While he is moderately active, Gumbo will also never say no to a cuddling nap session on the couch. Gumbo has come a very long way in his training, making leaps and bounds. However, he is looking for a home that will stay up to date with his training and ensuring he is on his best behavior to continue exploring his world.
