Meet Joy – Your Built-in Bestie (With Bonus Zoomies!)Joy is a 5.5-year-old, 50-pound pit bull mix with a big heart, wiggly butt, and a love for other dogs that’s nothing short of contagious. In fact, she’d thrive in a home with a canine buddy to show her the ropes and share in the daily chaos of playtime and squirrel-spotting.She’s got a whole lot of energy and a whole lotta love—but she’s also a sensitive soul. Joy can be a little nervous when things are coming at her head (hands, sticks, toys), so she’s best suited for a home without tiny tornadoes (kids 7+ only, please). Respectful children who give her space will get to see her shine.When it comes to cats, Joy was curious but quickly opted for the “nope” and avoid when that big mean cat hissed at her—so it’s a maybe with proper introductions and supervision.All dog meet-and-greets are a must, but if your pup is friendly and fun, they just might be Joy’s new BFF.
