My story

Gemini’s story is one of quiet resilience. Just before Thanksgiving 2024, she was found trapped in a steep creek bed—injured, scared, and unable to climb out. Thankfully, animal control rescued her, and she’s been winning hearts ever since. Calm, polite, and easygoing, Gemini is the definition of chill. She’s non-destructive, potty-trained, and walks like a dream on leash—even with a waist leash. Independent but affectionate, she loves nothing more than leaning in for hugs and carrying a toy on her walks, a signature move everyone at the shelter adores.Gemini previously lived with a small dog and is dog-curious, but she’s still working on her social skills. She’s treat-motivated, knows basic commands, and handles rain or shine like a pro. Gemini would thrive in a calm, low-key home where she can relax, snuggle, and feel safe. She hasn’t met kids yet and might prefer a quieter environment without too much commotion. With her sweet nature, unforgettable face, and toy-toting charm, Gemini is ready to trade in her hard days for couch cuddles and soft landings. Do you have a spot for her in your home?
