Meet Kate – Your Future Best Friend! Mama Kate and her adorable baby boy, Brompton, wandered onto the property of a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, most likely after being abandoned. Despite her past, Kate has the most hilarious personality, which contrasts with her adorably serious, stoic expressions. This sweet girl is house-trained and crate-trained, but she’s so well-behaved that she can be trusted to roam freely at home. She’ll follow you around with her big, soulful eyes, silently begging for love and affection. Kate is heartworm positive, but she has already started treatment with antibiotics and preventative care. (Heart worm is not contagious as long as dogs stay on preventatives!) Her adoption fee has been lowered, so she can be adopted and begin her journey in her forever home while going through slow kill heart worm treatment provided by the rescue. She is great with dogs of all ages and sizes, loves kids, and welcomes all visitors with her gentle, loving nature. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Once an application is received, our team is happy to answer all of your questions and send additional pictures and videos. Thank you for thinking rescue!
