My story

Meet Melody! Melody is a sweet and gentle 2-year-old female cat who loves to relax and take it easy. A truly demure young lady, she enjoys being petted, playing softly, and spending time with her people. One of her cutest habits? She loves to follow her person from room to room, just to be near you. Whether you're working from home or lounging on the couch, she’ll be right there, keeping you company. Melody gets along well with other cats, but she’s also perfectly content being your one and only. She's a great fit for anyone looking for a calm, affectionate companion to share quiet moments and cozy nights. She was rescued from the Apple Valley Animal Shelter after being listed for euthanasia and is now safe and loved—though she’s still searching for her forever home. This lovely girl would absolutely adore a space of her own. 📣 Foster Update (May 2025): Melody’s current foster will be traveling soon, so she’s in need of a new temporary foster home.
