My story
HSSM Longest Resident Benny Boy! Every day 2 year old Retriever/Terrier mix Benjamin sits in his kennel, patiently watching people pass by him. Never giving him a second glance. What do you see? A basic black and white dog with nothing special? Would you like to know what we see?....Potential and a personality filled with love! Benjamin was sadly abandoned on our property and left shivering in the cold back in November 2024. Now he has become a longest resident, praying to be seen! He loves to be around other dogs, knows how to sit like a pro, and will actively engage in fetch! Benjamin does amazing in our HSSM play groups every Thursday, and has even walked in the 2025 2nd Street Social Club Mardi Gras parade. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, and is good with kids! Will you give him a chance?
