My story

Hey y`all, it`s Dallas here, reporting for cuddles. I may look big and tough in my kennel, but I will melt into a puddle when I see someone I know. I am very much a lady`s man and can take a little while longer to warm up to men, but I will befriend anyone who gives me a few minutes to warm up (treats also certainly help!). I am a SNUGGLE MONSTER and will hoist my round booty into your lap any chance I get. I don`t think life was very kind to me before coming to ACAR, but the staff has taught me sit, helped me learn confidence on a leash, introduced me to other dogs, and shown me the wonders of the couch life. I will be very honest in that I was likely an outside dog my entire life and don’t mind being outside one bit, so I could be a great option if you are looking for a mostly outside dog. If you are willing to continue introductions to the couch life and allow me time to get comfy, I wouldn’t be opposed to being a couch ‘tater for the rest of my life either. I’m an easy-going guy who is long overdue for a loving home. Let’s meet!
