My story
Red gold Rufus has known mostly a kennel life and craves wide open spaces! Rufus loves to catch some rays and despite his size, loves playing with other dogs! Rufus has an extremely calm demeanor and though shy, he has eased into shelter life and is learning kindness from our staff. Rufus came to us when he was about 6 months old and had only met two people, he is a project dog that is worth the time and effort. Despite his fearfulness he is full of love. We think he would do best in a home with another dog, as he needs a to be "shown the ropes". One gaze into his beautiful bi-colored eyes and you will want to make it all better for Rufus. Here's your chance to be his hero!
