My story

Meet Dory, a gentle and loving soul who is happiest when she’s right by your side. This sweet girl has a heart as big as her puppy-dog eyes and loves nothing more than showering her favorite humans with affection—especially in the form of endless kisses. Whether you’re curled up on the couch or taking a walk around the neighborhood, Dory is always ready to be your loyal, tail-wagging companion. She is housetrained and has a zest for life that makes every day an adventure. Dory’s playful spirit truly shines when she’s having fun with toys or enjoying outdoor walks—sometimes she gets so excited that her enthusiasm comes out in fun bursts of energy. She’s done great participating in shelter playgroups too! Dory would thrive in a home with no cats or small animals, where she can enjoy daily enrichment, possible fun playdates with canine friends, and continued training to channel her energy into positive play. Our dogs and puppies go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested (6 months and over), and up to date on core vaccines, heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Their adoption also includes a free-vet exam at one of our participating veterinarians
