My story
Sophie is 6 and a half year old lab mix that was surrendered to the rescue approximately 5 years ago after having been rescued by a neighbord. Sophie was abandoned by her evicted owners and left to fend for herself. She had been tethered up on the back yard...had several litters of pups and eventually broke her tether and was living on the front porch. Neighbors made a bed of blankets for her and were feeding her. Sophie has spent most of her time in a boarding facility. She takes a little time to warm up to people, but is very loving once she trusts a person. She is not trusting of kids so adult household only. She is not good with other dogs or cats. She loves to go on walks and loves to play with her toys. She would do best in a calm household with very little coming and going of folks.
