My story

Hi, I’m Snickers — not the candy bar, but I’m just as sweet and way more fun to have around. At 1.5 years old and 41 pounds, I’ve got the energy of a young pup and the looks of a dog who maybe used to model for stylish socks (check out my white-tipped paws — very fashion-forward).My coat is a stunning red brindle, and my ears? Perfection. If there were a modeling agency for dogs, I probably got signed… then promptly fired for refusing to bathe. (Listen, I hate water, OK?) But I do love giant rope toys and giving my leash a good chomp to make sure you’re still paying attention to me.I’m very sweet, super friendly, and I promise you’ll never be bored with me around. If you’re not you when you’re lonely, maybe it’s time to add a Snickers to your life.~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org. Interested in fostering a dog in need? You can take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours, giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time.
