My story

Georgia is a sweet but stressed 2-year-old girl who came to the shelter as a stray on 10/31/2024, and sadly, she’s been waiting for far too long. Despite her gentle nature, the stress and anxiety of shelter life have been overwhelming for her, leading to high levels of fear and stress. Georgia has developed a happy tail from repeatedly banging it against the kennel walls, and she’s struggling to find peace in the busy environment. With the right care, she could flourish in a home where she can finally feel safe and loved.Georgia can be selective with other dogs, and she tends to be assertive, especially with behaviors like humping. However, with the right introductions and guidance, she has the potential to thrive in a home with well-matched canine companions. She also has some allergies that affect her ears and skin, but after being placed on a hypoallergenic diet, they’re now manageable. Georgia needs a patient and understanding owner who can provide her with the space and care she needs to heal. If you can offer her the loving home she deserves, please reach out.
