My story
Baxter has been with us since he was found as a stray back in October of 2024. During his time at the shelter, we have fallen in love with him--and we think you will, too! This smart, happy boy is super dog-friendly and likes to play, but when it`s time to settle he`s a champion snuggler who gets very excited for couch time with you. While he does walk well on a leash, he also walks like he`s on a mission--so if you want someone to help you keep your stride up on your daily stroll, this is your guy! Baxter already knows several commands, is housebroken, enjoys baths, and has had positive interactions with kids under 10. He also loves peanut butter, toys, and, just so you don`t forget, CUDDLES! Our volunteers and staff think Baxter is the best, and deserves the best home. Come meet him today!
