Magnolia

My story

Let us introduce you to Magnolia, a 2 year old, 40 lb beauty. Whomever she chooses to be her new family is getting a great dog, and let us tell you why. She inherently has traits that you cannot train. She doesn't meet a stranger and wants to visit with everyone. She loves kids, gets along well with other dogs, and doesn't take issue with cats. She constantly tries to give everyone kisses. She does not display any food/toy/bone aggression with people or animals and doesn't guard her things. When it is time for her foster mom to go to work, she willingly goes into her crate and waits for a treat. Sometimes she goes in just because she's tired, as the door is always open when someone is home. In her foster home, she has access to a doggie door when the fosters are home, and Magnolia has had no accidents in the house. Magnolia has an exuberance for life and lives it to the fullest. This girl is up for anything - playing in the backyard, taking a ride, going for a walk, chewing on a bone, and even taking an occasional nap. These are qualities most people want in a pet, and she has them ALL! Her favorite thing of all is to be outside, day or night. She loves to sit and watch the squirrels run in the trees and just hang out. Magnolia would love to have an adopter willing to help her with a little obedience training. She had NO training before coming to our rescue. When Magnolia came to us she was heartworm-positive but has finished her treatments; she is now healthy and ready for her forever home.
