My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our Royal Mastino, Livia, is doing well in her experienced foster home, but continues to dream of a family and home of her own.  Princess Livia (as she prefers to be called) is a fit 3 years old that loves rough and tumble play with large male dogs. She balances out her play time with heavily snoring napping. Preferably somewhere with a soft bed or thick blanket. Livia is housebroken and crate trained, though she will give you side-eye and if the crate contains insufficient treats to lure her in. She is indeed a princess. Her ideal home would have a large male dog to play with and a fenced yard. Livia loves to patrol her yard snuffling and watching for anything new going on in her neighborhood. She currently needs to be segregated when eating and with any high value toys/treats as she has resource guarding issues. She is learning there is enough food and human attention in her foster home, and she doesn't need to compete for them. She loves belly rubs, rump scratches and neck wrinkle massages and doesn't hesitate to request them from her favorite people. Due to her forward attitude and rough play style, she would do best in a household without small dogs or cats. She is learning leash manners as she is very strong on the leash when distracted.
