My story

Meet Iris, a resilient beauty with a heartwarming story and so much love to give! When we rescued Iris and her kittens, she was a doting but weary mom, thin, sick, and in rough shape. But after a month of TLC, Iris is healthy, more beautiful than ever, and ready for her forever home. Iris is a calm, gentle, independent soul with a quiet grace. She enjoys exploring, playing in a cat tower, chasing a wand toy, and partaking in an occasional bit of catnip. She’s not a kitty who rushes into things—she likes to take things slow, building trust at her own pace. When she’s in a safe space, she enjoys pets and headbutts. With her affectionate side starting to shine, Iris is a cat who will melt your heart a little more each day as she learns to feel safe and loved. She’s looking for a peaceful home and a kind-hearted human who understands that good things come to those who wait. With other cats, she ranges from indifferent to uneasy.
