My story

Meet Milo! 11-year-old Milo was surrendered because his family was moving out of the country and couldn't take him along. He was heartbroken by being left behind. Thankfully, soon after becoming a Frosted Face, Milo was chosen to live in a Foster home with a very patient and understanding family. Milo is an observer of the world around him, spending time near his people, but usually perched on the other end of the couch or tucked away in his cozy "Bat Cave," his own special lookout spot with views of the whole family room and kitchen. He uses ramps to get on and off furniture with ease and loves having the freedom to move around at his own pace. Milo is gentlemanly when meeting other dogs on walks and enjoys sniffing and tail wagging with new acquaintances. Milo does well in his foster home with routines and caregivers who understand that trust takes time. A calm environment and a safe space to retreat to when he needs quiet time helps him feel secure.
