My story

Bruiser is the total package! Truly, an absolute gem! He checks every single box of what you could want in a dog and has by far been one of the easiest fosters we have had. Someone is going to win the lottery with this guy! Bruiser:-is 2 years old, 55 lbs., male, microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, free to adopt ad Dallas Animal Services!-Is a TOTAL lovebug who just wants to be with his people, enjoy snuggles and be near you-Is potty trained (not one accident!)-Sleeps through the night in his crate (although if you let him, he’ll totally sleep in bed with you!)-Has impeccable house manners, and if he gets curious about the wrong thing (which is so rare), he’s easily corrected when you say no once-Is SO easy/relaxed on a leash, walks next to you and does not react to passers by, dogs, cats, etc.; His ears perk up at squirrels but I just tell him “no” and he refocuses straight ahead and keeps walking,-Is open to love and pets from everyone (including kids per previous daycation notes)-Is a GREAT patio dog (per previous daycation notes)-Takes treats so gently-Is calm and well behaved for a bath and nail trimming!-Knows “sit,” and is working on “down” and “shake”-Enjoys stuffed toys and squeaky toys but plays gently with them and so far has not been a toy shredder! He`ll lightly play for a few and then go back to chilling with you or napping.-Is SO friendly and easy going! Everyone who meets him loves him and can’t get over how sweet and docile he is. His loving nature combined with the fact that someone cut half his ears off and the visible scars of former bite wounds truly show just what an amazing, forgiving dog he is. Like any dog, he wants to be a loved and cared for family member, not an addendum. All he wants is love and devotion and he’ll give it back to you in spades! Don’t miss out on this truly special, one in a million boy. He deserves a wonderful home!
