My story

Dottie is a sweet, gentle, playful kitty with a loud purr. She is an amazing hunter- playful and so fast. She gets along very well with other cats and loves playing with her fellow fosters or going after a toy. When she first got to the shelter she seemed like she might be too scared to be adopted. But I am so happy to say that she has grown to love people and thrive as a house cat. It takes a little bit for her to trust new people but it is so rewarding when she does. She loves a lap, a nap and a snack. Dottie has started asking for pets and scratches and even allowing herself to be picked up! With a permanent, calm home where she can feel safe, and a patient human taking care of her, she will continue to open up to show her true self. Are you her forever home? Estimated date of birth is June 2024. --- All of our kittens are currently in Foster Homes. They are not at our facility. Adoption counselors can arrange for you to meet the kittens once your application is approved. Kittens through 6 months $125 or 2 for $200; Kitties over 6 months $100 or 2 for $150. --- Our Adoptable Kittens ARE NOT FERAL. We take them from the streets at a young age, and some are feral at the time of rescue. However, we spend many hours taming, socializing, and acclimating them to indoor life as a pet cat. They are currently friendly, healthy, and playful kittens who are just waiting for their special someone to take them home. All of our kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites. --- Adoption App: http://www.focusonferals.org/adopt/adoption-application/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Dottie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
