My story

Sweet Sam is ready to find his forever home! This big, orange tabby kitty is currently living in a foster home in the Columbus area. If you aren’t able to adopt, please help by sharing this post! At roughly 3 years old, Sam has already lived a big life—and now he's ready for the next great chapter. The last feline remaining at a managed cat colony, Sam was rescued just in time and has blossomed into the ultimate companion: affectionate, curious, and always up for a play session. He’s a hefty 18 pounds of soft fur and soulful eyes, with gorgeous orange swirls and a heart to match. Sam loves toys and will chase with kitten-like enthusiasm, but he’d benefit from a little extra exercise to keep his paws—and purrs—in motion. His friendliness shines through the moment you meet him; he’s a gentle giant with endless love to give. Sam has been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. He also tested negative for FeLV. He is FIV+, but that doesn’t hold him back at all. He can live happily and healthily, and even share a home with other cats who are friendly and non-aggressive.
