My story

Jax is a 10+ year-old Chihuahua mix with about 10 pounds of attitude, heart, and charm. He’s the kind of dog who will follow you everywhere—not because he’s needy, but because he’s decided you’re his person, and he’s not letting you out of his sight. Even though he is a little blind, he knows where you are lol. Jax is mostly calm and low-maintenance, but like many Chihuahuas, he has grumpy moments—especially when it comes to food. He’s food-motivated and just prefers to dine in peace (his kennel works perfectly for that). Give him his space at mealtime, and he’ll be your best buddy the rest of the day. Despite his age, Jax still has plenty of pep in his step. He loves going on walks and gets excited when he hears the food bowl. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, but would do best in a home without young children—not because he’s mean, but because he appreciates a quieter environment and adults who understand the classic Chihuahua personality. If you’re a lover of quirky little seniors with big opinions and even bigger hearts, Jax might just be your perfect match.
