My story

Duke von Domitz is a 3-year-old, long-haired German Shepherd. Some lucky family is going to hit the jackpot with Duke! Not only is he a beautifully fluffy boy, he must have had a lot of love in his past life because he is a very affectionate, attentive dog who seeks out human companionship. He seems to have a calmer energy, is likely housebroken, walks great on leash, and is very sweet, leaning in for pets and giving kisses in return. In our Westside playgroups he prefers calmer females. (He's a no for cats). Come meet Duke if you are looking for a wonderful companion! Rescued from the Devore animal shelter. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
