Omg hi hi hi! I'm so happy you're checking me out! My name is Arial, and I'm the exact opposite of the generic, boring font I'm named after. I'm as quirky and wacky as they come! My foster parents affectionately call me a crazy, nutball Parkour spider... at least, I think they mean that affectionately? When I play, I'm a supernova of energy that (literally) bounces off the walls. My antics and spunkiness have been known to leave visitors in pure awe. But I'm not all about the Fast and the Furriest (har har). When I'm done playing, I'm a big lover. I enjoy being held and will happily curl up for a snooze and a cuddle in your lap or on your chest. One of my cutest quirks? I love to sit up on my hind legs and reach for things that I want with my little bunny paws. If you'd like to see this adorableness in action or see more pictures of me growing up, check out my foster mom's Insta - https://www.instagram.com/dinosaur_kitten_nuggets/. Now, let's talk about the elephant in the room. I do have feline leukemia virus (FeLV), but please don't write me off just yet! Let me tell you about it. Having FeLV, I will need my family to keep a very close eye on my health. This means watching for any changes in behavior, eating, drinking, or bathroom habits, physical changes anywhere on my body... no observation is too small with FeLV, and my family should get guidance from my veterinarian whenever you notice anything. My immune system can be more fragile than a cat without FeLV, so when something comes up, it's important to act fast to avoid compounding symptoms. FeLV is only contagious to other cats, so if I have a feline buddy, they should also be FeLV-positive. I'll promise you one thing - FeLV has no hold on how much I'll love my family and how much joy we'll bring to each other's lives! You can learn more specifics of FeLV here: https://www.merckvetmanual.com/cat-owners/disorders-affecting-multiple-body-systems-of-cats/feline-leukemia-virus-felv https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-leukemia-virus https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/feline-leukemia-virus-disease-complex My siblings and I are little warriors. Our kitty mama unexpectedly passed away when we were only a week and a half old, and we battled and defeated many health issues as tiny neonates. We were dealt a lousy hand at life, but we have overcome every obstacle and become happy, vibrant kittens, full of life and personality. We'll continue to thrive with the love from our future families. I'd love a chance to show you just how amazing a unique kitty like me can be. I would definitely do best with a buddy who can keep up with my energy, so it'd rock my world to be adopted with any of my six other littermates (Basil, Comic Sans, Helvetica, Nutmeg, Times New Roman, Wingdings)!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Arial, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
