Chowder

My story

Chowder had a pretty rough start to life and was found in a hole very, very sick. Rescued by Sketchy Mutts, he's now made a full recovery and is ready to win your heart! This little guy is as sweet as it gets. Chowder is so eager to please and learn, he spends much of his day just following his humans watching what they're doing and seeing how he can "help". :) Chowder is currently living in a foster home learning a bunch of new skills, so he'll be ready for his FOREVER FAMILY! He's working on crate training and not having accidents in the house. Chowder does get very excited for toys and sometimes needs help settling down. He LOVES to tear and rip things up, so will need proper guidance on what he can and cannot play with. He already knows sit and will wait very nicely for a treat. He is currently in a foster home with 3 dogs and 2 cats, plus a foster kitten. He's learning to be respectful of cats and to play gently with the kitten, but can hold his own with the big dogs just fine too! This boy is CURIOUS, and likes to explore with his ENTIRE body. :) He climbs, hops, and jumps to get up (and on!) whatever he's trying to figure out. This makes for a very tired puppy at the end of the day and he'll crash like a typical tired toddler. Chowder is a quick study, but will need a family to be patient with him while he learns. He'll require a home with other dog friends who can help him grow up to be the best dog he can be.
