My story

Gooseberry was so scared when he first arrived. In this video you can see the stages of adjustment he goes through. It is amazing how quickly (matter of minutes) he went from noodle legs to engaging with tail tucked to giving kisses like a lap dog. Gooseberry gets braver every single day. He is very much a youngster with plenty of playful energy and love to give. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
