My story

Looking for a tiny slice of heaven? Zoey is our favorite little angel. This tiny girl was saved from euthanasia at a local shelter at the ripe age of twelve years old. Then, she lived with a loving owner for several years until they sustained a hip injury, rendering them unable to care for her. Now at 15 years old, Zoey is seeking a home where she can rest her old bones and finish out her golden years. Zoey has come out of her shell rather quickly in her foster home and likes to follow around her human friends when she isn't sleeping. Yup–despite her cataracts and stiff legs, Zoey loves to be in the middle of the action! She also appreciates tasty snacks and the occasional play session, though she can be cautious about being picked up. Given time and the opportunity to bond with a new owner, we can see her as the perfect chi-companion. If you’ve got a heart for seniors and a cozy bed to spare, please apply to adopt dear Zoey.
