My story

Link to post with videos of her: https://www.facebook.com/FriskyBusinessRescue/posts/pfbid0U2P47JHS4ZoyJRS9KcfoVQ25qy5MYcQR4w3TxPieiV9jnU2w2ncVsrbsvwJxeFhvl Location: Lexington, SC Name: Macey Age: 4 years Breed: APBT Mix but from a line of APBT used to create American Bullies with more American Bully temperament (lower energy compared to normal pits and much lower prey drive) M/F: F Spayed/Neutered/Shots: UTD on rabies, dhpp, bordetella; microchipped; heartworm negative & on heartworm and flea prevention; dewormed Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: all of the above - has even been around toddlers with no issues. There have been 2 dogs she didn’t get along with out of 100’s that have come through while she has been here but she was housed for months directly across from them without direct access so I think it was simply due to built up tension if that makes sense Aggression or medical issues?: some broken teeth that vet said did not need removal and do not interfere with daily life; food reactive/protective and must be fed in a crate (fine being around other dogs while humans are eating) Reason for rehoming?: found stray and no owners could be located House/crate trained?: yes and has also done well being left in house alone (did not have other animals in house when this was tested) Additional info/story (personality): Loves to cuddle. Loves to play. Loyal off leash once she settles. Loves all toys. Walks well on a leash. She is simply just a really good dog. Her main downfall (besides having to be fed in crate) is that she is terrified of cars. I have to pick her up to carry her to a car. Once in, she must either be crated, buckled in, or have someone else hold her while any windows or doors are open or she will bolt. Does not get motion sickness or drool or anything crazy once riding though. Message/comment if interested. Make sure if you message me to include the animal’s name since I have a lot of rescues I am trying to help rehome at the moment. Adoption application & contract required to ensure good home.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Macey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
