My story

Howdy, y'all! My name is Luke. I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it! My foster mom says I'm the smartest boy in the whole wide world. (She's my mom, so she may be a little partial to me!) But really. She recently decided to teach me "paw, which is "high-five in laymen's terms, and I mastered it on the first try! I'm ready and willing to learn other new tricks if that's your thing. I've been told I'm a happy, goofy, lovable guy that just wants to please my people. I'm especially fond of snuggling, car rides, water sports (if you consider being good at bath time an event), and playing with fluffy toys. I adore quality time with other dogs, so if you already have some in your family, I would love to join your pack. Honestly, I haven't been around cats, so I don't know what I think of them. And I haven't been around kiddos either, but considering how much I love my people, I would sure like to meet some and see how we do together. I should add that I'm a little shy when I first meet new people, places and pets: slow intros would be best for me. I just need a minute to adjust to new things, and once I do, I'm all good to share the love, fun and good times.
