My story

Casper here! I'm a young male dog with lots of love to give. They call me friendly, curious, cuddly, and well, just straight up adorable! I have a great time running around and roughhousing with other dogs and older kids; but when it's time to chill, I love nothing more than to snuggle up with you. I think cats are really interesting, but I don’t understand them yet. My foster home has two other dogs, and sometimes we cuddle up together. I'm learning to be crate- and house-trained, and to walk on a leash and other commands, too! If you choose me, I will show you my devotion as your furever best friend with plenty of kisses and nose boops. Are you ready to see if we're a match? ** Please note that while Casper is not currently neutered, this will be included in his adoption process ** Are you interested in adopting this dog or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be submitted online, or sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner’s White Oak Shopping Center. We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application. Thanks for thinking adoption!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Casper, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
