My story

House trained? Yes! She does great being left in or out of her crate when I am away. Would only suggest moving your mail or packages out of reach. The girl loves a good bubble wrap. Crate trained? Yes! She sleeps in her crate through the night and during the day if I am away for work.Leash trained? Yes! Because she is a herding breed of dog, she always wants to be out in front of you as protection and to scope out the situation first. She requires a “gentle leader” leash where you can direct her from the front vs from behind. She does very well at matching your pace and being directed with “this way”, “stop”, “wait”, and “let’s go”. She’s an intelligent girl! Commands? Other than what I have listed in quotes, she knows basic commands: “sit”, “stay”, “paw”, “shake”, “kiss”, “up”, “down”, “off” (for jumping), and “crate”.She is everyone friendly! She loves people, meet and greets with other dogs/cats, and is quick to respond to a “no” or “leave it” if another animal doesn’t want to be bothered. She is a match the energy type of girl in playing with other animals and is perfectly content taking an afternoon snooze. She would be great with kids of all ages, or another dog or cat in the home.Note: Chloe is 65+ lbs and is a Pyrenees/Retriever mix.
