My story

Our fabulous Fievel was born to be your co-pilot on the journey of life. His background is a bit of a sad mystery, found roaming the streets wearing a muzzle Oct ’24. Based on his worn facial fur & actual indentation line above his nose at the time, it appears as if the muzzle was an all too frequent occurrence. That’s all behind him now & he’s ready to taxi down the runway to your heart. Fievel has struggled with the stress & isolation of long-term shelter life, but boy does his spirit takeoff the minute he’s with his human or dog friends. A playgroup superstar, he’s done very well with other playful, active dogs at the shelter. He’s also never met a stranger & is affectionate & sweet, greeting every shelter volunteer with a tail that never stops wagging. He’s an active boy, but is able to relax & enjoy a good landing with a toy next to his favorite humans. We feel his dream flight plan for a forever home would be full of long walks & companionship with a doggie sibling (we always recommend proper, slow intros), patient humans who aren’t gone too much from home that would help him adapt to the good life, plus of course lots of belly rubs & love. So please set your course to our shelter because Fievel’s ETA for the forever home he deserves has been long delayed & we want him to know his happily ever after is quickly approaching!
