My story

Meet Scrappy! This little guy may be shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he's all about quiet companionship. When he's by himself, Scrappy is as low-key as they come-curled up in his blankets, snoozing the day away. But when you walk into the room, get ready for a sweet welcome! If he knows you well enough, he'll get excited and might even treat you to his signature squealing "siren" noise. Scrappy is great on a leash, comfortable in his crate, and follows you around the house like a little shadow. He loves sitting on your lap or cuddling next to you on the couch. Though he's shy around new people, just quietly keeps his distance until he feels comfortable. Once he does, you'll find him asking for pets and even rubbing his face on you when you're sitting down! A quiet, relaxed home would be perfect for Scrappy-maybe someone who works from home or an older person who enjoys a calm companion. He's not much of a toy player, but he enjoys the occasional walk and really perks up when it's time for his wet food-cue the adorable "Chihuahua yell"! He may need a bit of patience as he settles in, but with time, Scrappy will become your loyal, affectionate lap buddy.
