My story

Meet Pebbles, a stunning 2-year-old Husky mix with a resilient spirit and a heart full of love. She was found as a stray alongside her puppy—who has since been adopted—and brought to Big Dog Ranch to find a forever home of her own. True to her Husky nature, Pebbles is full of life and energy. She would thrive with an active and experienced owner who understands the physical and mental stimulation her breed needs. She loves going on adventures, playing with her favorite toys, and winding down with some serious cuddle time. Pebbles is prone to seizures, a medical condition that will require lifelong medication and monitoring. Because of this, she needs an adopter who is not only familiar with her breed but also comfortable managing ongoing medical care. She’s been incredibly brave through her health challenges and continues to show just how strong and loving she is. She is good with other dogs, though her play style is energetic and should be matched accordingly. Due to her high prey drive, she is not suitable for a home with cats. While she’s affectionate and gentle, Pebbles would do best in a home with older children who understand and can respect her space and needs. Pebbles is looking for a patient, compassionate adopter who will give her the structure, love, and care she deserves.
