My story

Giuseppa is just a little thing. Her tricolor coat is so undercover pretty too. That is a good description of her - undercover. She is quiet in her kennel especially for a young dog and has great energy outside. Her little lippy has the perfect pout (just right for smooches). She accepts affection well and dishes it back out in equal amounts. Giuseppa has been with us for weeks. It is her time to be noticed! Came in as a stray on 9/26/24. Found near 10200 S Yates, Chicago Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL Email visitcacc@cityofchicago.org for more information. The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
