Pear

My story

When we first met Pear, she was full of curiosity and energy! She pranced around, investigating every corner, playing with toys, and staying tuned into everything happening around her. Pear is young, gorgeous, and we think a smarty pants too! She sat for treats and dropped her toy for one! Pear is fun and active and would probably love an active home to grow up in! Another sweet pup starting over. Came in as an abandoned confiscate on 9/12/24 Came in with A281451 and A281452 (cat) Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL Email visitcacc@cityofchicago.org for more information. The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
