My story

Bocelli hasn't met a toy (or water bottle) he would play with. We aren't sure how well Bocelli sees but his ears work very well. He really didn't give us much attention and kept breezing past us like he didn't know we were there. One squeak is all it took to get him to stop in his tracks. Bocelli loves toys. He even gave the water bottle some play time. He is a nice medium energy boy. Bocelli allows handling all over, but we had to come to him. A little hard to get won't scare us away! Came in as a stray on 9/15/24. Found near 900 N Trumbull, Chicago Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL Email visitcacc@cityofchicago.org for more information. The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
