My story

Bubbles is a cat who is always on the move and loves to play as well. Birds outside the window are her version of TV. Now that she is used to her foster mom she loves to walk up and purr for pets. She gets attached and will love to sleep between her human’s legs on the bed at night. While not a lap cat, Bubbles lovse to be near her human and cuddles when they’re on the couch or bed. Bubbles loves to play with the simple fabric on a wand to attack and grab. Bubbles took a little longer to warm up to her foster home but now with her sister are both happy to follow their foster mom everywhere. These 2 kitties love to be around people and are far from shy once they warm up to you. They really are just so easy to entertain, even with light reflecting on the wall from your phone or watch, but in the same breath once they're comfortable with you you'll hear the snores coming from the couch mid-day. These are kitties that will be in a position that looks so uncomfortable on the couch and yet be absolutely passed out. These are great kitties who really love to play so they’ll tire out before bed and sleep great overnight Bubbles and Bonkers have been together their entire lives so we plan to place them into a forever home together since they are closely bonded playmates. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. Generally, cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone. Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home. Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster-based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes.
