My story

**Located in Korea** Rescued from the euthanasia list, Pegasus is a lively, affectionate boy who thinks he’s a lap dog despite his size! He gets along with other dogs (though not a fan of Dobermans or Golden Retrievers) and loves kids but isn't suited for a home with cats. Pegasus is playful, loves running, and would thrive with an active adopter. He’s house-trained with a routine, rarely barks, and has no separation anxiety. Though he’s not a fan of water, he stays calm during baths. His favorite treat? Chicken breast! With his sweet, goofy personality and love for TV time, Pegasus is ready to bring joy to his forever home. Adopt Pegasus today and make him part of your family! My foster dog is good with: (Dogs, Kids, Cats)My foster dog is: (Crate trained, House trained, Low shed)Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Pegasus rarely barks. If a stranger comes into a familiar space, he might bark briefly but quickly shifts to wagging his tail once greeted.Walking Manners: Pegasus gets excited when walks begin but calms down quickly. After spending 3 months at a training center, he’s learned to walk politely. If he pulls, a gentle tug helps him adjust and walk in sync. Pegasus' Likes and Dislikes: Loves running: Prefers it to playing with toys like balls. Great for active adopters: Ideal for someone who enjoys hiking or outdoor activities. TV enthusiast: Pegasus loves watching TV and could binge-watch all day if allowed! High jumper: His long legs make him a natural at jumping fences—so watch out! Favorite treat: Chicken breast. He’s okay with fruit snacks but doesn’t love them. Lap dog at heart: Despite his size, he loves curling up on people’s laps. Dislikes water: While not a fan of water, Pegasus stays calm during baths. Does the following: (Gets car sick, nervous outside, has separation anxiety, hates the bath, none of the above); ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States ##2203145##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pegasus, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
