My story

Syrup is a sweet but very timid cat who needs a calm and quiet environment to feel safe. Cats with shy or nervous personalities often thrive in homes where there is less stimulation—like noise or other animals—to trigger their fear or anxiety. For Syrup, an older person who leads a peaceful life, with plenty of patience and love, would likely help her feel more secure and start to come out of her shell. Offering her cozy hiding spots around the home and giving her space to adjust at her own pace will be crucial. With time and a gentle, understanding approach, she may slowly build confidence.
