My story

On 9/8/25 Sadie Lee attended playgroup. She was timid and unsure, but tolerated other dogs greeting her. She was hesitant to give corrections to other dogs. She definitely prefers to be with people, but eventually opened up and showed interest in some of the more mellow/calm dogs. Very much a gentle/dainty girlie girl "Pictures really don't do justice to how gorgeous Sadie is. She is a beautiful chocolate brown that shines in the sun and medium haired. Her coat is so soft, like she just got a bath! Getting Sadie Lee out for some picture and playtime was easy, she leashed right up and walked politely to the yard. Once outside, she immediately went for all the toys she could see. She liked to bring them to me, roll around, and drop them by my feet. Sadie is very good at fetch, except she would occasionally go fetch for one toy and bring back another. She seems like a high-energy dog but is very intelligent, so I think she would make an excellent running buddy. Sadie is very nice but does like to jump up on me to grab my attention. I think she would do well with kids once she's taught to sit. She also said hi to a dog in a neighboring yard, Conner, and did well in his presence. They occasionally booped snoots to say hi but didn't seem overly nervous or excited to see each other. Overall, a wonderful dog! Sadie Lee would make a fantastic addition to a home." - MAS Staff Member
