I’m an ideal companion for a multi-dog home. - Good With Other Dogs? Absolutely! I thrive with canine companions and feel much more comfortable with dog friends around. I love to "talk" in the yard with a happy wagging tail, especially when I'm playfully scolding my foster siblings! - Potty Manners: I have wonderful potty manners! - Crate Manners: I'm a pro in my crate when I'm left alone! - Health Notes and Diet: I was treated for heartworms last year. Now I'm back to my happy, tail-wagging self! - A Little More About Me: I'm a gentle soul with a sweet and patient nature, and I’m gaining confidence every day. My foster parents say that once I feel secure, I show my wonderful personality. I like to check in with them for a little confidence boost when I meet new people. I'm not a lap dog yet, but I love having you nearby and will come to you for affection. I can't wait to find a loving home where I can truly bloom! Requirements And Donations - Required Adoption Day Items: A martingale collar and a non-retractable leash (available for purchase at ODHS). - Adoption Donations: Puppies (under 1 year): $375; Adults: $275; Seniors (age-dependent): $175; Select dogs: $500. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards. - Adoption Radius: Within 350 miles of Fredericksburg, VA. A $50 out-of-state fee applies. - Breed Identification: Dogs are listed as "Mixed Breed" unless formal documentation is available. Location And Hours - Visit our adoption center at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408 during adoption hours: Wednesday 5-7 PM; Friday 6-8 PM; Saturday 11 AM-3 PM; Sunday 11 AM-1 PM. - We also host adoption events throughout our community.
