My story

We see so many unwanted dogs come through our doors. Great dogs, just not valued in the homes they previously had. Desiree is one of those dogs. She is so sad at the shelter. Being left behind by the only family you've ever known will do that to anyone or any dog. Desiree is easy to handle, has calm energy, and polite when interacting with us. We probably won't see her true personality until is back in a home, comfortable and loved. Help us help Desiree blossom. The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
