My story

Adoption Status: Available for Adoption In May 2024, Lucy was rescued from the Apple Valley Animal Shelter prior to her scheduled euthanasia. Lucy was the sole surviving kitten from her litter not subjected to euthanization. Following Lucy’s rescue, Lucy was transported from Southern California to San Francisco. Lucy received the necessary medical treatment for ringworm and an upper respiratory infection upon her arrival. About Lucy Birthdate: March 2024 Philly Jenkins provided the following medical care: Microchipping, Vaccines, FIV Testing- Result: Negative, Spaying, Parasitology Testing, Deworming, Ringworm Treatment, Upper Respiratory Treatment and Care. No permanent medical issues have been found. All medical documentation is provided with adoption. Behavior Characteristics: Lucy demonstrates a positive disposition towards small dogs and adolescents, although she has not been introduced to individuals aged 14 and under. It is important to note that Lucy exhibits shyness in unfamiliar environments, which may persist for up to one week; during this period, she may hiss and display territorial behavior. However, she has shown a remarkable capacity for adaptation. Lucy is trained to use a litter robot  and has no reported issues in this regard. She is affectionate, enjoys giving kisses, and is highly playful, thriving in the presence of human companionship. May 13, 2025, 12:01 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lucy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
